Based on Improved NSGA-II Algorithm for Solving Time-Dependent Green Vehicle Routing Problem of Urban Waste Removal with the Consideration of Traffic Congestion: A Case Study in China

The dense population and the large amount of domestic waste generated make it difficult to determine best route departure time for removal trucks in a city. Aiming at problems municipal solid (MSW) transportation not time, high collection costs carbon emissions, this paper studies vehicle routing problem under influence time-dependent travel traffic congestion emissions. In paper, dual objective model with lowest total economic cost highest garbage efficiency is established, DCD-DE-NSGAII algorithm based on Dynamic Crowding Distance Differential Evolution designed improve search ability, convergence speed increase diversity optimal solution set. results show that: according actual situation transportation, method can scientifically plan route, give reasonable scheme effectively avoid time; Through comparison, proposed reduce costs, environmental pollution.
